As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Join Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, bus depots, parking areas, perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, incidents, and policy violations according to established procedures.Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional support and notify appropriate personnel as needed.Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs, communicating professionally with client representatives, transit personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of StateAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
