You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Use your communication skills and preferred computer or tablet experience to document activity and support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive business location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.Prepare accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and promptly report maintenance concerns or security-related hazards to appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
