As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge and access-control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to a caring, reliable team at Allied Universal that acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.14 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access concerns according to site procedures.Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
