As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and communicating professionally with visitors and personnel. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting security-related procedures and helping to deter incidents through a visible, reliable presence. Join Allied Universal's caring, agile team, where integrity, innovation, and teamwork guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, vendors, and/or deliveries entering the location in accordance with established procedures.Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-control records; issue and collect credentials as directed by site policy.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activity.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the perimeter, reporting observed hazards, unauthorized activity, and property concerns.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
