Hotel Security OfficerUnited Security Services, Inc. (CA PPO 6145), a national security company, is seeking professional Security Guards for an upscale hotel in the Santa Clara area. United Security guards are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to our clients and customers.Security Guard Requirements:At least 2 years of public safety or upscale private security experience.Excellent customer service skills and sound judgement.Proficient in verbal communication with hotel staff, guests and visitorsEffective in conducting hotel security tasks, patrols and safety responsibilities.Possess, or can acquire by time of employment, a California BSIS Guard Card.Availability and flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift based on the operational needs of the hotel. We are looking to hire predominantly for 3rd shift but shift times may vary.Satisfactory writing skills, with the ability to effectively create Security Incident Reports.Security Guard Preferred Qualities and Skills:Knowledgeable in the key aspects of private security including, but not limited to: Handling hotel security tasks, responding to emergencies, CCTV footage, etc.Experienced with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security software applications.Possess a working knowledge of the hospitality industry and the related nomenclature.The hourly wage for this position starts at $21.63 but shall be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.We offer competitive pay and benefits, including career advancement opportunities.Job Type: Part-time.Pay: From $21.63 per hourUnited Service Companies is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
