As a Part-Time Security Officer in Lakeland, FL, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will support a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Bring your professionalism to a caring, innovative team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and collaboration.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.96 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMDayTime Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
