As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while working collaboratively with Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative team and acting with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.48 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the technology campus, office areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies; assist with directing guests and supporting an orderly workplace environment.Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
