As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol residential and technology-focused locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. At Allied Universal, you will contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and a caring culture that puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.75 - $18.75 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Fri 08:00 AM - 08:00 PMSun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, resident or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and patrol documentation.Support a professional environment at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by observing conditions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and following post orders.Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of StateAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
