As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist visitors and shoppers, and provide outstanding communication and customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.A guard card or license is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
