As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time:Mon 11:30 AM - 03:30 PMTue 11:30 AM - 03:30 PMWed 11:30 AM - 03:30 PMThur 11:30 AM - 03:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.Assist with access control, visitor and vendor verification, and documentation of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of State
