As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and tenants. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Join a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and observation of retail property activity while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possession of a guard card or applicable license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Florida State Security Agency License No. B Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
