As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.86 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 05:30 PM - 04:00 AMSat 05:30 PM - 04:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 3 years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate's degree in criminal justice.Handcuffing certification is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Pepper spray certification is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
