As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns. Join Allied Universal and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of rail yard areas, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.Report observations, incidents, property damage, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.Minimum Requirements:CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
