As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. At Allied Universal, you will contribute through teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the retail location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
