As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. Join a caring, agile team that puts people first, works together, acts with integrity, and uses innovative approaches to support a welcoming environment.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.38 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 10:00 AMSat06:00 AM - 10:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and help maintain an orderly environment for patients and visitors.Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of experience in security-related work is required.At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.Experience with alarm panels is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Florida State Security Agency License No. B
