As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting security-related activity. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize online resources effectively.Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support in a professional manner.Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
