As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and report observations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.40 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, equipment yards, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with established site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations or security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
