As an unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity guide everything we do.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.75 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeTue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.Report maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other observed conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
