As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools to support daily activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable, and innovative team culture built on integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.48 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.Complete accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
