As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.89 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned, following site procedures for credential verification, visitor registration, and incident documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate observations, concerns, and operational updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
