Security Officer Patrol Access AuthorizationAs a Security Officer Patrol Access Authorization in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to support daily operations. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring team, where integrity and teamwork guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $16.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 02:00 AMThur02:00 PM - 02:00 AMFri02:00 PM - 02:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain professional communication with site personnel and the public.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
