As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Join Allied Universal's caring, agile team, where integrity, reliability, innovation, and teamwork guide meaningful security-related work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed09:30 PM - 06:00 AMThur09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate campus resources and/or emergency services.Monitor access points and campus activity, verify authorized entry where required, and report access-control concerns or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
