As a Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, entrances, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation.Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering routine questions, and communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Alarm panel experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
