As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers innovative solutions.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.08 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 02:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 02:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport environment.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as directed.Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials when assigned, and report access concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control/badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
