As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while documenting and reporting security-related concerns. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, and innovative teams put people first, work together, and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 07:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur 07:00 AM - 05:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing guests in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.Minimum Requirements:At least two years of security-related experience is required.A guard card or license is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
