As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture puts people first and integrity guides every interaction.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.19 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense environment.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and policy concerns.Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activity, incidents, access-related observations, and shift handoffs.Minimum Requirements:A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
