Security OfficerMercy Fitzgerald Hospital is looking for a Security Guard to join our Security Team!Employment Type: Per Diem, as neededShift: 3:30pm to 12:00am Location: Mercy Fitzgerald HospitalPosition PurposeThe Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.As a Security Officer you will:Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.Recognizes special needs/concerns of populations served and adjusts communication accordingly, i.e., language barrier, diminished hearing, concrete terms, etc.Does Patrol ToursMonitors Close Circuit TV (CCTV)Responds to all Emergency Code alertsOther duties as assigned by managerMinimum Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalentValid Driver's license in good standingPossess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Possess the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, patients and visitorsPerform alone or as a team member in the management of aggressive or violent behavior through non-abusive physical intervention.1-year Prior hospital experience preferredPosition Highlights:Work/Life balance with flexible schedules.Free onsite parking.Our mission and core values are what drive each member of Trinity Health to support each other, communicate openly and respectfully while embracing a culture that nurtures a healing, safe environment for all.Referral Rewards ProgramMercy Fitzgerald Hospital is a 178-bed teaching hospital located in Darby, Pa., which offers advanced acute care services in Delaware County and Southwest Philadelphia.
