As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture puts people first and professionals deliver through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.87 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and directing guests as needed.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to policy.Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of StateAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
