Security Officer (Unarmed)Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the physical safety of all employees, visitors, contractors, and client facilities, as well as protecting property and assets. Guards conduct patrols, monitor access control points, and ensure protection against intruders, theft, vandalism, and other security threats. This position may require independent decision-making and the ability to work with minimal supervision.We are seeking a professional Unarmed Security Guard to help maintain the security standards established by Weiser Security. The primary objective of this role is to create and maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and client property. Prior Military and Law Enforcement experience is strongly encouraged to apply. We are a performance-driven security company that values discipline, accountability, and professionalism. We promote from within and provide continuous training—both physical and procedural—as part of employment.ResponsibilitiesRespond to and manage security or safety incidents involving personnel, property, or facilitiesNotify appropriate contacts such as SOC, Team Leader, or Project Management during incidentsPerform access control using computers, radios, tablets, and mobile systemsConduct routine patrols and report suspicious activityMaintain accurate digital reports and logsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and managementMaintain a professional appearance and provide customer serviceSkills & AbilitiesAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to complete digital reports and radio check-insAbility to work independently when requiredStrong communication and computer skillsMinimum RequirementsUnarmed Security Guard License (or ability to obtain)Valid TWIC Card (Required)Reliable transportationValid Driver's LicenseClean criminal backgroundClean motor vehicle recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in all weather conditionsSchedule & PayFull-Time - 7 Days On / 7 Days Off / 12 Hour Shifts - $18.00 - $25.00 per hourEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)Preferred ExperienceSecurity or Corrections: 1 yearLaw Enforcement: 1 yearMilitary Service: 3 yearsCustomer Service: 1 yearBenefits & ConditionsBenefits available after 60 days - 90-day probationary period - Advancement opportunities for top performersWork LocationIn person
