As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will operate screening equipment, conduct access control activities, and monitor designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused support. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, and innovative teams put people first, work together, and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.22 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.Monitor screening equipment, access points, and surrounding areas; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
