As a Screener in a government court setting, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and supporting access control procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with the public, and help deter security-related incidents. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity guide how we serve.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $25.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMFri 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMPre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101)What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.Screen individuals and their belongings using approved screening equipment and procedures, following applicable court access requirements.Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate areas, and communicate entry restrictions and prohibited-item procedures in a professional manner.Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned public areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Minimum Requirements:CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.X-Ray screening experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
