The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks.Job Skills / RequirementsPer Mar Security Services is hiring a security officer in Springfield, IL. This officer will be assigned to a retail in-store, observe and report only position.Hours: Wed.'s 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Thurs/Fri/Sat 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Sun/Mon/Tue off. Pay rate is $20 per hour, 35 hours per week.Qualifications:18 years-of-age or older.Good attention to detail.Able to meet the physical requirements of the position.Have a valid driver's license and MVR that falls within company policy.Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Current or past PERC holders highly desired, but not required.Job Duties:Serve as a deterrent against thefts and violations of store policy.Observe and report security incidents to store management.NOTE: Upon hire, candidates must agree to travel to Decatur, IL for one half-day for our new hire orientation/training.Additional Information / BenefitsBenefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401K/403b PlanThis job reports to the SupervisorThis is a Part-Time positionNumber of Openings for this position: 1
