Job description
Security OfficerThis position is responsible for providing facility security for all events held at Benchmark International Arena, the Yuengling Center, and any additional venues served by Vinik Sports Group. The Security Officer ensures the safety and protection of all guests and employees while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class ServiceProvide guests with accurate arena and event informationEnforce building policies and proceduresAccurately check all staff/guest bags prior to entering the arenaRespond to all emergencies during the eventAccurately and thoroughly complete incident reportsWork cooperatively with all staff members, law enforcement officers and fire/rescue personnelRespond to all guests' concerns/complaints in a prompt, courteous and professional mannerMonitor the crowd during all events to ensure safety for allVerify credentials to control access into restricted areasMaintain a clean and neat appearance during work hoursQualifications1+ year(s) of security experience preferredKnowledge of the Security Chain of CommandSecurity license preferred, Law Enforcement or Military backgroundExcellent customer service skillsKnowledge and skill in radio communicationExcellent verbal communication skills required with a thorough understanding of written and spoken English.
