Job description
Security OfficerSupports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $18.82/Per Hour. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications include a pre-employment background check and drug screen, completed high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person, valid driver's license, and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable. Desired qualifications include previous work experience with the public in a service setting. Taser qualifications include ability to meet qualification standards, obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a Taser, participate in and pass additional Taser training, and demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian's Taser Policy.Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking for variable amounts of time, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch, lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more, and frequently engage in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.About Tarian: Tarian stands out as North America's foremost expert and trusted security partner, driven by the diverse backgrounds and experiences of its team.
