Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 02:15 PM - 06:15 PMWed 02:15 PM - 06:15 PMThur 02:15 PM - 06:15 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus procedures and contacting appropriate resources.Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access-control procedures, and reporting of maintenance concerns, hazards, or security-related issues.Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and activity logs and communicate relevant information to supervisors and campus stakeholders.Minimum Requirements:Have at least two years of security-related experience.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
