Security Officer Part Time Bicycle Credential PatrolAs a Security Officer Part Time Bicycle Credential Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will support access control activities, maintain a visible presence, and may patrol by bicycle. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, and innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.30 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with campus community members and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Riding a bike for long periods of time is preferred.Experience with access control and badges is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
