As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects Allied Universal's values.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $15.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles as directed, coordinate gate access for deliveries, and document relevant activity in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.Have access control or badge experience, preferred.Have customer service experience, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
