As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture puts people first, teamwork drives results, and integrity guides every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.46 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site procedures, and provide directions or assistance as needed.Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic client environment.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
