As a Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and caring team, where integrity and teamwork guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.73 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.Observe shipping and receiving activity, report damaged property or potential policy violations, and help support an orderly environment for facility operations.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
