As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.63 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare and laboratory location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, entry, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in processes in accordance with site requirements, maintaining professional communication and accurate documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining confidentiality regarding personnel, research, and business operations.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control/badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
