As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report observations. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide how we serve.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 10:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun 04:00 PM - 08:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
