As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through routine rounds, access awareness, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.63 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and reporting requirements.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access-related irregularities to appropriate site contacts.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.Minimum Requirements:Have at least one year of security-related experience.A Guard Card or license is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
