As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist with access control and alarm response. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry credentials in accordance with site-specific policies.Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Alarm panel experience is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
