As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to routine concerns, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication to visitors and occupants. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a commercial real estate location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.Communicate observations, concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of StateAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
