Job description
Security OfficerThis is a full-time, benefit eligible position for varied shifts located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. The Security Officer supports Scripps Health through the performance of duties which provide a reasonably safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and property. Is a visible deterrent to criminal activity and actively patrols assigned areas. Ensures policies and procedures are carried out and reports non-compliance. Responds to emergency situations and when appropriate provides guidance for the safe management of the situation, communicating with leadership as necessary. Work is accomplished under the direction of security leadership.
