As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate records using computer or tablet systems. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.78 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PMThur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with established procedures.Maintain accurate access-control records, including visitor, contractor, vendor, and vehicle entries and exits, and communicate relevant information to site contacts as appropriate.Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, exterior areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
