Security Officer Visitor ScreeningJoin Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Remington, IN. You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, assist with visitor management, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $15.70 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Communicate professionally with site personnel, drivers, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and incidents.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
