As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while embodying our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.24 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school location protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience are preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
