As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communication, and access support while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.24 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and badge experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
