As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols throughout a residential apartment community, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity put people first.Position Type: Full Time / Mix shiftPay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMTue 09:30 PM - 06:00 AMFri 05:00 PM - 01:30 AMSat 05:00 PM - 01:30 AMSun 05:00 PM - 01:30 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
